Electric Shavers - Best Offers on the Market

Every man obviously has to shave. Some more often than others but basically we all have that in common. While some men prefer razor blades because they give them a clean cut when shaving, others prefer electric shavers. Some prefer electric shavers because it takes less time to shave with them, and some simply like the shave style, plus they are equipped with trimmers and shapers so it's more practical to use than a regular razor blade. So what are the best electric shavers out there? Well whenever somebody mentions new technology shavers three names come to mind: Braun, Philips and Remington.

So the first shaver we are going to go over new Remington R7130 Hair Trimmer. There is not much to say here, this is a top model shaver that can adjust to any angle of the jaw and chin, one of the most amazing things about this electric shaver is that it has highly advanced carbon coating on the blades, and that makes the 400% harder than any other steel blade, so guess how long will this puppy last. Besides that this top model is cordless model electric shaver with rechargeable time of 60 minutes, quick charge approximately 5 minutes, it has three shaving heads with LED display, giving this shaver a top edge on the market.

Next on the list is Philips HQ8240 Beard Trimmer precision trimmer for mustache and sideburns. This baby has SmartTouch contour following system with 3 speed XL shaving heads that offer 50% more shaving surface with antibacterial coating. Of course it's cordless, with an amazing charging time of 60 minutes which allows this electric shaver to work for the next 60 minutes. It has LED display with low battery indicator and my favorite feature, it's waterproof and washable.

The last on the list, and probably the best there is at the moment Braun Pulsonic 760cc Electric Shaver. According to people around the world this is the top of the line, you can't find better than this. This top of the line shaver has a Braun series 7 motor that sends over 10,000 micro-vibrations per minute through the 4 heads he has equipped in order to gently stimulate the skin of your chin. That makes it possible to capture more hair in a single move. It also has sensitive flexing head which allows you to capture those normally impossible hairs on your chin. And like any other top model it has LED display, unplugged life of 50 minutes and is waterproof.

All of them have different prices, Braun is the most expensive one, but according to consumers it's not at all expensive considering the service it provides. A clean cut shave almost like a razor blade. That's something I would surely like to try. Well I also have a Braun electric shaver, a little older model but it was top of the line 3 years ago when I bought it and I still don't have any problems with it. So I guess that's a good recommendation for the quality of Braun electric shavers.

Find the best electric shaver there is, for the right price.

What kind of nursing degree are you interested in obtaining? There are a number of choices. Bachelors and masters programs are abundant online. If you know that you wish to become a Registered Nurse, you may want to consider an undergraduate degree. Many quality schools offer programs for all levels of nursing degrees.

About Online Learning

No introduction to earning an online nursing degree would be complete without some information about online learning! This format works great for many people, but it is very different from learning in a traditional classroom setting. While most schools offer a variety of support tools, learning online takes a great deal of commitment on your part. While many programs offer options for interacting, learning online may feel "lonely," and you need to motivate yourself and stick to deadlines. Many classes are asynchronous, meaning that you read materials and submit assignments on your own time (although assignments usually have due dates). If you are not comfortable with this, online learning may be difficult. Further, learning schedules are just as demanding as in a traditional classroom format.

Benefits of Online Learning

An introduction to earning an online nursing degree must also include some information about the many benefits of learning online. For those with busy schedules, online learning allows you to learn from home on your own time. It also allows you to attend a school that you might not be able to otherwise, such as if you live across the country or in a rural area. Because there are so many online nursing programs from which to choose, you can find a program to meet your needs.

iPod/iTunes: Under Attack from Hackers

Apple's iTunes/iPod is a closed business model, built on two essential premises. One is that songs bought from iTunes will only play on iPod players. The second premise is that songs purchased from other music download sites will not play on iPods.

Now Apple's business model is under attack - by 26-year-old hacker Jon Johansen. Johansen, of Norway, has decoded iPod's Digital Rights Management (DRM) encryption, known as FairPlay, according to reputable sources.

Johansen is making his hack available - for a licensing fee - to businesses seeking to sell hardware competing with iPod, and download sites competing with iTunes.

Note that Johansen's hack does not remove DRM from downloaded songs. It actually adds DRM, to trick iPods into thinking that a given song has been purchased via iTunes.

If this hack takes off, will the closed business model fall apart?

Hardly. Johansen's decision to market his hack through licensing agreements means that your average teen music-lover is not suddenly going to find his music collection iPod-compatible. Instead, she will have more choices of legal music sites, to download songs that will be iPod-playable.

The effect of this may be to lower the industry-standard pricetag of $.99 per song. Apple could face real competition from other sites that can now sell legal music to load into those insatiable iPod hard drives.

Something to consider for Microsoft Zune... if the hack was figured out for iPod, can a Zune hack be far behind?

Debt Reduction Program - Finding The Right Program For You

Find the right debt reduction program begins by asking yourself some key questions. Once you have identified your situation and goals, you can pick the program with the best results.

Ask Yourself Some Questions

What kind of debt are you dealing with – mortgage or credit cards? How manageable are your monthly payments? How soon do you want to eliminate your debt? Answers to these questions will greatly determine which debt reduction program will best meet your needs.

Reducing Interest Rates

To simply reduce your interest rates, refinance your debt with a home equity or personal loan. With minimal impact on your credit, you can close out high interest mortgage or credit card accounts.

Debt management companies also reduce rates on unsecured loans. For a fee, they will also handle payments on your account. A debt management plan has the potential of limiting your ability to open new accounts for a year or more. But once you get a handle on your debt, you can qualify for better rates.

Lowering Monthly Payments

If you are swimming in payments with no financial breathing room, you might consider consolidating your debt into a long term loan. By extending the length of your payment, your monthly payments will be lower. However, you will also pay more in interest charges over the course of your loan.

Another option is to use a debt negotiation service, which will work with creditors to reduce your loan balances. Not all creditors will agree to eliminate your debt, buy some will reduce accounts by 10% or more.

Helping Manage Your Accounts

To make debt reduction automatic, use a company that manages your accounts. Debt management plans can get you out of unsecured debt usually in less than five years.

A consolidating loan can also make payments automatic. Shortening terms will help you pay off your debt sooner and save on interest.

Shopping Services

Just like with any service, shop around for the right program and company. Request information on services and rates before you sign a contract. By comparing several companies, you can also get an idea on what are reasonable fees.

30 Seconds to Easy Self Hypnosis

There are many ways in which to induce a tranquil, relaxed state of mind, in which the body is still, and the conscious mind is simply placed aside for a while as the subconscious mind assumes a more dominant role, and allows the therapeutic cognitive processes which are innate in all of us to become active.

This state of mind, known as the hypnotic state is very simply created by;
- Focusing one’s attention.
- Relaxing the body.
- Allowing unnecessary thoughts to enter, then exit, without any rationalisation.

This process can be easily accomplished by the technique that follows. It is known as the “Eye Roll Technique’, and is a very old but powerful way of entering a safe therapeutic hypnotic trance. When in this relaxed state of mind, it is possible to offer oneself any positive suggestions or affirmations in order to bring about the changes which you desire. Examples of positive statements and affirmations are given further on.

THE TECHNIQUE.
If possible, find yourself a quiet place and either sit down or lie down comfortably.
Roll up your eyes, just as if you were trying to look at your eyebrows.
Allow your eyelids to slowly close, and as you do so, take in a deep breath and hold it.

As you slowly exhale, allow your upturned eyes to return to their normal position.

As you finish exhaling, enjoy that gentle, floating sensation that you will experience.
At the same time, imagine your right hand to be very light, like it has a childs helium balloon tied to it making it rise gently. You may be surprised at the ease by which your hand and arm seem to float up by themselves.
This floating hand signal is a signal from your subconscious mind that you are entering a state of deep relaxation.

As you remain in this deeply relaxed, hypnotic state of mind, offer yourself any positive, therapeutic suggestions which you feel will help to bring about the changes you really want or need.
Remain in this state for 10-20 minutes, that’s really all that’s needed.

You can repeat the process as many times a day as you like.

EXITING THE TRANCE STATE.
Roll up your eyes behind your closed eyelids.
Very slowly, allow your eyelids to open, and the eyes to focus.
Make a tight fist with your right hand, and as you do, allow this light floating hand to drift down into a comfortable position. As it comes to rest, release the tight fist and gently stretch those fingers.……FINISHED !!!!

If necessary, the exit from the trance state can be accomplished any time by going through the steps listed above.

It may take you a little time to perfect the technique, especially if you are the ‘on the go all the time’ sort of person. Relaxation comes easier to some people than to others, so always bear this in mind.

Remember, if you want to make positive changes in your life, this relatively short use of your time can pay great dividends in the end. The beauty of it is that once you have practiced and mastered the technique, you will be able to enter the relaxed state much more easily and deeply.

Another point to remember is that everyone is capable of entering into a hypnotic state.
But just as we are all different, so is the ease with which we enter into a hypnotic trance.
Some will succeed on their first or second attempt, where as others may need many more attempts. It took me a week and a half, and about 15 attempts before I achieved a hypnotic state. The motto is—PERSERVERE. It may take time, but the rewards are well worth the effort.

Can Hypnosis Help to Eliminate Pain?

Pain is a subject that touches everyone. After all, it is a human condition from which we all suffer at one time or another. There are headaches, dental procedures, sports injuries, broken bones, soft-tissue injuries, and psychosomatic pain.

Research shows that 75% to 80% of all adults will experience lower back pain at some time in their lives. Approximately 40 million Americans suffer from arthritis pain and as many as 45 million suffer from chronic, recurring headaches. There are thousands of people every year who suffer the agony of surgical interventions and thousands more who endure the pain of debilitating or terminal illnesses.

All of this pain falls into two basic categories: (1) acute pain, which is of short duration and (2) chronic pain, which continues for weeks, months or years.

Most people respond to pain - whether acute or chronic - by taking drugs of some kind. But drugs are often a temporary solution.

What few people realize is that the ancient art of hypnosis offers a safe, effective alternative for reducing sensitivity to pain.

Hypnosis has been shown effective in the management of various types of pain. Besides providing an effective solution for maladies such as headaches and acute injuries, hypnosis offers a unique solution for those suffering from chronic conditions like back pain and arthritis as well as intermediate and advanced stages of cancer. Studies show that patients with chronic diseases require fewer painkillers to achieve pain relief when they practice hypnosis. These same patients exhibit fewer signs of anxiety and experience greater comfort during medical procedures.

Hypnosis also has been shown to be effective in reducing nausea and vomiting in chemotherapy patients.

The most effective approach for acute pain appears to be the use of hypnotic suggestions focusing on anxiety reduction and minimizing the importance of the pain. For chronic pain, it is more effective to confront the pain directly under hypnosis, dealing with both the pain's physical and psychological effects.

Another area where hypnosis offers significant positive results is in dealing with pre- and post-operative patients. Using hypnosis in preparation for surgery has been shown to reduce the experience of pain during surgery, resulting in the need for less anesthetics. Hypnosis as a pain management tool with surgical patients also has been shown to reduce nausea and greatly increase the recovery rate in most patients, thereby truncating the length of time spent in the hospital. (That creates another rarely mentioned positive result: reduced medical costs!)

But efficacy and lower medical expenses are not the only positives related to the use of hypnosis for pain management. This modality has no dangerous side effects. Unlike medications, hypnosis does not become less effective with use and does not require stronger and stronger doses to cope with pain. While patients may have to ingest costly medications several times a day for years, they have the potential for reducing or eliminating their pain in just a few hypnotic sessions for significantly less cost.

Does hypnosis always work? In the area of pain control, everyone can be helped to SOME degree. There are essentially five categories into which subjects fall:

1. Those who find total and permanent relief.
2. Those that have a decrease in the severity of pain.
3. Those who experience pain relief initially, but who need occasional reinforcement.
4. Those that experience intermittent relief.
5. Those that still have pain, but feel 10-30% less pain than before.

What accounts for these differences in relief? The answer appears to be the patient's susceptibility to hypnosis - the level of relaxation reached during the hypnotic sessions. The deeper the relaxation, the more effective the pain reduction.

Certainly, no treatment for pain - whether chemical, physical or psychological - is effective all the time. However, hypnosis has shown over and over again that it can help people reduce or eliminate both acute and chronic pain. Best of all, it works its magic without any side effects.

As a safe, effective alternative for reducing sensitivity to pain, hypnosis is second to none.
